clk 200 tuning help needed.

Hi i have a clk 200 2001 manual with 175k good s/h,question is i need more power,don't have the money for a new car,could i get the car chipped for extra power, would it be ok with the mileage on the car,the car runs great with no problems just need the extra power.thanks for any help.

A turbo kit would be the best option.

An estimate of about 1-2k+ power increase is all depends how far you want to go.

De-cat, K&n Filter,then fill it with Optimax,should give it a bit more go.

I've just seen a couple of websites doing ecu tuning of up to 30bhp for around £250.

Sorry, not possible to gain 30 bhp on n/a m111 without hardware upgrades. Expensive upgrades.

In that case cheapest is a pulley upgrade to make the SC spin up fsster. Check out the ASP racing website

I thought the 200K's had 193 bhp ( almost the same as a 230k )

If it is supercharged, tis a different ballgame. No ecu upgrade is needed before 210 bhp. Just pulley , then exhaust mods.
