I have to view this with a modicum of suspicion. I've had the same mobile number ever since mobile phones were the size of house bricks, but as I'm very careful about who I give the number out to, I hardly ever get an unsolicited call. The last one was over a year ago, now I think about it.
The company in question claim to have a list of 15 million mobile numbers out of the 40 million in circulation. What better way to increase the amount of numbers on their database than by causing a media panic and thereby getting previously unknown numbers to "unsubscribe"? Maybe this is just my late night cynicism kicking in..
