Mercedes have released a new map update for NTG2.5

It came in yesterday. Its called Version 8.0 "2012". I wasn't expecting it, and there is no info from Mercedes as to the differences, apart from we know it will have a more up-to-date CDDB (CD/DVD track database) and lots of map changes.

Comand Online Ltd :: Mercedes SatNav/COMAND :: Mercedes Navigation Disks :: Comand APS Map 2012 for Hard Disk COMAND NTG2.5 in A B CLC W211-E CLS SL SLK ML GL R Sprinter Vito Viano

As normal, it contains 2 DVDs to update your COMAND's hard disk and takes a couple of hours to do the update in which time you can't navigate and only the steering wheel controls give you any control over the COMAND (plus volume and MUTE on the comand).
