I don't want it to sound like an American muscle car. I don't like that sound at all.

My B6 S4 (4.2 V8) had a Milltek catback and that sounded great. My E39 M5 (5.0 V8) had a silencer delete and that also sounded great.

That's the kind of sound I'm after: Teutonic rumble rather than American gargle.
